Position Overview
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Retail Manager at Ovial International Pty.
Ltd for our business Brumby's Bakery Gladstone.
This role is responsible for the effective selling of products, providing expert advice to customers on product selection and use, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
The position oversees all retail operations, maintaining safety and compliance with company standards.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Responsible for organising and controlling all the operations of the bakery.
Manage inventory and stocks of essential items required in baking, daily reconciliation, banking and other administrative duties as required.
Collaborate with bakery/franchise owners to align retail strategies with organisational goals.
Oversee and coordinate daily production operations of the bakery, ensuring consistent quality, freshness, and timely availability of Brumby's signature baked products.
Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and meet or exceed financial targets.
Bakery product selection and setting up prices in consultation with franchise owners by implementing competitive purchasing and pricing policies to reduce expenditure and increase sales.
Organise sales promotions and in-store events.
Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts.
Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance.
Resolve staffing issues and stock discrepancies.
Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store's reputation.
Ensure the customer experience is positive, leading to new opportunities and repeat business.
Contribute to a safe and positive work environment.
Decide which bakery products to offer, how much stock to keep, and the level of customer service to provide.
Ensuring organisational policies and procedures are followed.
Effectively manage the store profit and loss and accurately forecast resource demands.
Control costs without compromising standards and customer service.
Ensure occupational health and safety guidelines are always maintained and adhered by the staff.
Ensure high-quality service, handle complaints, train staff.
Coordinate with other departments and communicate goals.
Oversee stock levels, manage orders, conduct inventory audits.
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or higher in the relevant field.
At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications.
At least one (1) year of relevant experience.
Benefits & Remuneration
Salary commensurate with experience - $77,000 to $80,000 plus guaranteed superannuation.
