The ideal candidate is an excellent diagnostician with superior interpersonal and collaborative skills, with subspecialty fellowship training and/or extensive experience (preferably five or more years) in dermatopathology. Experience in soft tissue pathology is an asset. Responsibilities include dermatopathology and participation in frozen section services. A commitment to teaching and mentoring students from the Island Medical Program at the University of Victoria and physicians from other programs is expected.This position offers eligibility for appointment with the Island Health Department of Laboratory Medicine, Pathology, and Medical Genetics, as well as potential clinical appointments with the University of British Columbia’s Department of Pathology.
