About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Print Operator to join our client's production team, responsible for operating and maintaining all large-format print and finishing machinery across the factory.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, understands production environments, and can keep machines running efficiently while meeting tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate all large-format printing, cutting, and finishing equipment
• Set up, run, and monitor print jobs to meet required quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and basic troubleshooting
• Ensure correct handling and use of substrates, inks, and materials
• Work closely with pre-press and production coordination teams
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised production workspace
• Follow WHS procedures and operational best practices at all times
Skills & Experience
• Proven experience operating large-format print machinery
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Experience with PrintFactory or Onyx RIP software (highly regarded)
• Solid understanding of colour management, materials, and finishing processes
• Ability to work efficiently under production deadlines and pressure
• Experience across multiple machines and workflows preferred
