About The Role
Our Senior Work Coordinator – Electrical plays a key leadership role in supporting the EIC Engineering Superintendent to deliver process control and electrical capital projects across the Sarina region. This position is responsible for coordinating the planning, execution and completion of electrical and automation projects, providing technical guidance, and ensuring work is delivered safely, on time and to the highest standard.
Working collaboratively with engineers, system technicians, maintenance teams and contractors, the role contributes to continuous improvement in electrical reliability, plant performance and asset management.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Coordinate the planning, development and execution of process control and electrical capital projects
Provide technical support in the development of SAMA, PID, and AFCE diagrams, and HAZOP/CHAZOP processes
Support fault finding and technical problem-solving for operational and maintenance teams
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and statutory standards in all electrical work
Lead and support continuous improvement and automation initiatives across the region
Mentor and guide work coordinators and trade teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a relevant trade discipline, or equivalent experience
Extensive experience in maintenance, reliability or project coordination within a heavy industrial environment
Strong technical competence in process control, electrical systems, and automation
Demonstrated ability to lead diverse work groups and manage multiple projects
Working knowledge of WHS legislation and industry codes of practice
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP and MS Project is desirable
