Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to support our Commercial Government & Not for Profit team.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in legal administration, with excellent technical ability using Microsoft Office suite, knowledge of Aderant Expert for billing, strong attention to detail, and a personable, collaborative, and friendly disposition.
* Coordinating meetings and internal/external functions
* Opening and closing of matters including e-filing and physical archiving via Aderant Expert (billing) and iManage (document management) systems
* Time entry and preparation of monthly high volume billing
* Creating, drafting, editing, and formatting a range of legal correspondence and documents
* Reconciling expenses for authors on a monthly basis
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the team, including coordinating meetings, preparing travel arrangements, and managing calendars.
Matter Management: Open, close, and manage matters, including e-filing and physical archiving.
Billing and Time Entry: Enter time and prepare monthly high volume billing.
Correspondence and Document Preparation: Create, draft, edit, and format legal correspondence and documents.
Expense Reconciliation: Reconcile expenses for authors on a monthly basis.
Requirements
Experience: Significant experience in legal administration, preferably in a similar environment.
Technical Skills: Excellent technical ability using Microsoft Office suite, knowledge of Aderant Expert for billing, and proficiency in document management systems.
Priorities: Strong attention to detail, personable, collaborative, and friendly disposition.
