Radiographer Level 2 - New Graduate
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients, clients, and clinicians across Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD). The successful applicant will work in a multidisciplinary team environment, participating in the delivery of person-focused services. This position is open to new graduates only, with all new graduates commencing as a Radiographer Level 2, Year 1.
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide a quality diagnostic imaging service by actively participating in the multidisciplinary delivery of person-focused services.
* To work within a team and share workloads according to skills and competencies.
* To interpret request information and select an appropriate protocol.
Requirements:
* Current Authority to Practice as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a EPA licence to use radiation (IA14).
* Sound written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact with a wide range of people.
* Ability to work within a team and share workloads according to skills and competencies.
Working Conditions:
* The successful applicant will be required to provide cover across both Cooma and Queanbeyan Medical Imaging Departments.
* The role may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
