About the CKI Airfield Upgrade Project:

A career-defining opportunity has now presented to join our Fulton Hogan Infrastructure Services business delivering the Airfield Works package as part of the upgrade the airfield on Cocos (Keeling) Islands (CKI). Located 3,000km north-west of Perth in the Indian Ocean, CKI boasts two coral atolls comprising of 27 smaller islands.

As we gear up for the planning and mobilisation stage, we're on the lookout for talented professionals to join our team. This is your chance to be a part of an iconic project that combines advanced infrastructure development on an island.

Position: Contracts Manager

Responsibilities:

- Lead the administration of contracts, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalising contract terms and conditions in accordance with company policies.
- Provide commercial support to the project throughout the project delivery cycle to ensure all contractual notices and deadlines are met.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners to support smooth project delivery and act as the main point of contact for subcontract variations, ensuring clear and consistent communication between all parties.
- Monitor financial performance of the project and advise on opportunities for improvement
- Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks. Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect the company's interests and to minimise potential impacts.

We are seeking:

- Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, construction management, engineering, law, or a related field.
- Solid experience in contract law, procurement processes and risk management principles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Defence procurement processes, contract frameworks, and compliance requirements.
- An ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced, high-compliance environment.
- A decisive leadership style with an ability to pivot and be agile when required.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
