About The Role
Join our kitchen team as a Chef de Partie, responsible for preparing and presenting dishes that meet the high standards of our guests. As part of a fast-paced and dynamic operation, you will assist the Executive Chef and collaborate with fellow cooks to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Critical Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen staff.
Determine food presentation and create decorative displays.
Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and garnish of dishes.
Monitor food quantity and manage inventory levels.
Notify service staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items.
Prepare special meals and substitute items as needed.
Assist cooks with various tasks.
Provide necessary items to kitchen staff.
Monitor stock of kitchen supplies and food.
Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program and products.
Ensure food quality and notify manager for unsatisfactory items.
Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
Successful Candidates Will Have
Relevant experience in a high-end restaurant or 5-star hotel environment.
Trade qualification or be a qualified chef.
Strong food safety knowledge.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work both as a team member and independently.
Passion for food and aspiration to grow culinary career.
