The Job:
As a National Key Account Manager, you'll own the end-to-end commercial, operational, and customer relationship management for a major national customer across our professional brand. You'll drive sales growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction through strategic planning, execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
Your core duties will include:
Developing and implementing strategic account plans to drive revenue, market share, and profit objectives.
Building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with key customer stakeholders, acting as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
Leading sales forecasting and demand planning, monitoring account performance, and adjusting plans based on data-driven insights.
Planning and executing customer-specific promotions and events in collaboration with Marketing and Trade Marketing teams, evaluating ROI and effectiveness.
Working closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product teams to ensure seamless execution of customer plans and drive internal alignment.
Coordinating with National Field Execution teams to support retail execution, product training, and gather field intelligence.
Managing account-level KPIs, including sales & revenue growth, margin improvement, forecast accuracy, inventory management, promotional effectiveness, customer satisfaction, market share growth, and new product placement success.

Previous experience in a Key Account Management or similar position.
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
Cross-functional collaboration and leadership skills.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience in the tools industry or with industrial suppliers is highly regarded.
Resilience, hunter mentality, and a self-starter attitude.
