The Health Information Services team plays a fundamental role in delivering health information to the Alfred Health community. Health Information Services supports the delivery of quality health information across the three campuses at Alfred Health. Health Information Services is responsible for many services, some of which include: * Management of medical records * Clinical Coding Support * Management and governance of patient medical record numbers * Patient administration system (iPM) * Scanning and importing of all internal and external clinical documentation * Statutory reporting of all inpatient episodes (VAED) * Dictation and transcription services * Enquiries including the main reception at the Alfred Hospital, Paula Fox Melanoma and Cancer Centre and Caulfield Hospital * Switchboard services at The Alfred and Caulfield Hospitals * Release of information to external health services * Management and coordination of subpoena and warrant compliance * Alfred Health Archives As one of Victoria's largest health services, Alfred Health offers variety, innovation and the chance to challenge yourself and be part of a collaborative and caring team.
