Infrastructure Canberra (iCBR) is seeking a highly experienced and suitably skilled leader to join the Directorate as the Executive Group Manager, Delivery – Housing.

Delivery – Housing Is Accountable For
* Delivering cost-effective Facility Management Services across the portfolio
* Leading Infrastructure Canberra in achieving the highest standards of service delivery and the implementation of a customer service culture
* Leading the development of a comprehensive Project Delivery Framework to grow the Housing ACT managed portfolio to 13,200 by the end of 2030, exploring various feasibility methods such as modular builds, commercial partnerships including for multi-unit property development, and a review of iCBR asset holdings to identify development opportunities of underutilized land and opportunities to repurpose existing residential housing stock in the iCBR portfolio
* Providing expert advice to the Director General, Head of Service, Ministers, and Cabinet on the delivery of the housing capital program for the Territory, and in the context of broader industry capacity and environment
* Leading all aspects of major infrastructure projects including technical management, contract negotiations, and conflict resolution related to delivering new public housing. Manage significant construction contract matters including safety incidents, contract disputes, and acting as the principal's senior executive
* Working cooperatively with ACT Government Directorates/agencies, particularly the Housing Coordinator General, supporting the development of key housing-related policies, programs, and communications to ensure effective and sustainable implementation of government priorities
* Building and maintaining relationships for effective communication and partnership with government stakeholders and industry bodies connected to residential construction, public, community, and social housing developments, and development finance (public and private)
The group consists of industry professionals with a broad range of skills and expertise to support whole-of-life asset management and the delivery of construction and property-related projects.
The key to success in Delivery – Housing is being customer-focused, responsive, and an innovative organization that can be relied upon to deliver. The position requires active engagement with government, non-government, and community bodies including all directorates and agencies, their Directors-General, Ministers, and the Legislative Assembly to understand their needs and ensure Delivery – Places and Spaces delivers the solutions needed to achieve their outcomes.

Remuneration: The position offers a package ranging from $376,285 - $389,635 depending on superannuation arrangements. This includes a cash component of $333,737.
Contract: The successful applicant will be engaged under a performance-based long-term contract for up to five years. Long-term engagements are tabled in the ACT Legislative Assembly.
