Are you a Consultant Psychiatrist seeking a meaningful career in a region that offers both skilled challenge and lifestyle appeal? We’re recruiting for three permanent roles within a dynamic mental health service in Northern NSW, spanning:
- Acute inpatient care – supporting individuals during periods of acute mental health crisis/ Mental Health Emergency Care (MHEC) – contributing to a 24/7 emergency response model
- Community psychiatry – delivering recovery-focused care in a multidisciplinary setting.

About the Service
This regional health service covers over 20,000 square kilometres across Northern NSW, serving a population of more than 300,000 people. The region includes a mix of coastal, rural, and hinterland communities, offering a diverse and rewarding clinical environment. With a strong focus on integrated care and community engagement, the service delivers a broad range of mental health programs across inpatient, emergency, and community settings—supported by a network of hospitals and multidisciplinary teams.
