About the Role
Mackay Base Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Midwife to join the Women's Health Unit for an extended contract. This role requires strong labour ward and birth suite experience, with the successful candidate working across a rotating roster within a busy regional maternity service. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident midwife looking to gain experience within a large Queensland health service.
Requirements
Registered Midwife (Grade 5)
Minimum 3 years' experience in women's health nursing/midwifery
Labour ward and birth suite experience (mandatory)
Ability to work rotating 8 and 12-hour shifts
Strong clinical and communication skills
Knowledge of ieMR highly desirable
Previous QLD Health or Australian experience highly regarded
