Senior Dispensary Pharmacy Technician Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and skilled pharmacy technician to join our dynamic team as a Senior Dispensary Pharmacy Technician. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
About the Role:
* Manage the pharmacy dispensary services including community pharmacy section, dispensing services, collection of prescriptions, and delivery of dispensed medication and counselling.
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and work collaboratively to provide excellent customer service and support to patients and healthcare professionals.
* Support the Technician Team Lead in training, coaching, and managing all team members in the dispensary.
* Measure and monitor the performance of the dispensary team to feedback to the Technician Lead.
* Work in collaboration with team members in the pharmacy and other health professionals in the hospital.
* Support all matters associated with QCPP and NDSS.
* Oversee the management of owing prescriptions and ensure the PBS claim is prepared and submitted accurately.
* Triage patient account queries and complaints, escalating where necessary.
* Review daily dispense reports, error reports, and amend as required.
