National Education Correspondent
We are seeking a highly skilled journalist to cover daily news and in-depth investigative pieces in Australia's education sector. The role involves building and developing contacts within academe and other education stakeholders, as well as pursuing breaking news materials and producing content within tight deadlines.
The successful candidate will have several years' experience in the education sector, strong reporting and interview skills, and an in-depth knowledge of the Australian private/public education system.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting research and interviews to gather information for articles and features
* Writing and editing articles to meet tight deadlines
* Briefing and editing colleagues on key education issues
