As a Technical Business Analyst (Manager) within PwC Australia's Digital – Data & AI practice, you will lead the analysis and delivery of complex data, analytics, and AI transformation initiatives. You will take ownership of stakeholder engagement, requirement definition, and solution design across large-scale projects involving cloud modernisation, advanced analytics, and generative AI use cases. In this role, you will mentor junior team members and partner closely with clients to ensure successful outcomes that drive business value. What You Will Do
* Lead end-to-end requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation for large-scale data modernisation, migration, analytics, and AI projects, working closely with senior stakeholders.
* Translate complex business strategies into technical solutions by developing comprehensive business cases, user stories, process models and system specifications.
* Drive alignment between business objectives and technology capabilities across multi-disciplinary teams including cloud architects, data engineers, data scientists, and developers.
* Oversee and contribute to the development of use cases involving generative AI and advanced machine learning techniques to unlock strategic client opportunities.
* Manage the delivery of data visualisation and reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau or other tools, ensuring outputs meet business needs and quality standards.
* Mentor and coach junior analysts and consultants, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.
* Facilitate workshops, stakeholder sessions, and governance forums to ensure clear communication and consensus throughout the project lifecycle.
* Monitor project progress, risks and dependencies relating to requirements and design, and proactively escalate issues to ensure delivery on time and budget.
* Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends and regulatory requirements to guide solution design and advisory insights.
What We Are Looking For
* Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Business or related field.
* Experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role, with a strong focus on data, analytics, cloud, and AI-related projects.
* Proven experience navigating complex stakeholder environments and delivering high-impact business and technical requirements.
* Sound knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern data ecosystems such as Databricks, Snowflake or equivalent.
* Hands-on familiarity with analytics and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
* Practical understanding of data science, machine learning principles and generative AI applications.
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with demonstrated experience mentoring and guiding teams.
* Great communication skills with the ability to influence senior executives and technical teams alike.
* Agile delivery experience and the ability to adapt to fast-moving, complex engagements.
* A strategic mindset with problem-solving capabilities and a customer-centric approach
