**Full time, fixed term for 12 months**

- **Base Salary $150,628 + 17% superannuation**

**About the opportunity**

The DVC Education portfolio is seeking a motivated and self-driven Project Specialist, Curriculum Quality and Sustainability to support a major University reform. This role is a great opportunity to help lead the implementation of the University's _Teaching and Learning Strategy _and contribute to lasting improvements in curriculum design, quality, and sustainability. Working with the Associate Director, Education (Strategy), you will help shape a high-quality, future-focused curriculum that delivers better outcomes for students and staff.

In this role, you will:

- provide advice to project teams and senior leaders on curriculum strategy and operations
- collaborate with academic and professional staff across faculties and central teams
- support scalable and consistent approaches to curriculum design and management
- drive continuous improvement in curriculum quality and assurance.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

- lead curriculum assessment and analysis to ensure alignment with quality and sustainability principles, and institutional reform goals providing evidence-based advice to project teams and faculties to support best practice in curriculum design and management
- offer high-level guidance on process design to enable the effective integration of technology and the successful delivery of strategic initiatives
- work with stakeholders to build strong partnerships that support collaboration and the effective uptake of strategic initiatives
- manage people, budgets, systems, and tools to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery
- support and guide team members to foster innovation, continuous improvement, and strategic alignment
- oversee staff performance, development, and career progression in line with operational needs
- manage risk and maintain a protected, compliant and supportive working environment aligned with University policies.

**About you**

You will be someone who:

- is passionate about education reform and achieving better student outcomes
- has strong analytical and problem-solving skills and can think strategically and exercise sound judgement
- has excellent project management capabilities, with a record of delivering complex initiatives on time and to a high standard
- demonstrates strong negotiation, relationship-building and influencing skills to build trust and drive change
- understands education policy, governance, systems and decision-making in a university or public sector context.
