About the role:
We're seeking a Senior Workplace Coordinator to join our team, supporting a key technology client based in Chatswood.
This role supports site management whilst developing skills across workplace services. You will combine hands-on work with leadership opportunities, acting as a link between reception employees and site management. You will coordinate daily services, manage vendor relationships, and ensure quality service delivery whilst building your facility management skills through mentoring and training.
Day to day responsibilities:
Assist in managing cleaning, catering, landscaping, waste management, mailroom operations and human experiences programmes under senior supervision
Direct supervision of frontline soft services team members
Maintaining comprehensive records of service activities, vendor performance, and compliance requirements forms
Supporting budget management activities including expense tracking, purchase order processing and cost analysis
Conducting regular service quality inspections and managing customer feedback systems
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting safety inspections, managing incident reporting, and supporting training programmes
Active participation in professional development programmes, industry training, and certification pursuits to advance facility management expertise
About You:
Prior experience working in facilities, office, or building management and understand workplace services
Prior people management experience with the ability to lead a small team
Basic understanding of budgets and contracts would be advantageous
Effective communication skills and ability to interact with different stakeholders and vendors
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
