Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Marketing Specialist based in Melbourne, VIC. In this role, you will lead our marketing initiatives and support the growth of our laser nano-manufacturing product lines, especially focusing on the Asia-Pacific market development. This role involves designing strategic marketing plans, developing product-focused content, website maintenance, social media management, events supports and awards application, supporting both corporate branding and business development. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams - including Sales, R&D, and Technical - to ensure our brand and products are effectively represented across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing Planning & Execution

2. Design and implement effective marketing plans

3. Lead the team for marketing activities, utilising all possible channels to maximise customer engagement

4. Product Marketing

5. Collaborate with sales and technical teams to deeply understand the company's product portfolio (e.g., nanoLAB series, nanoFACTORY series, HoloView series, UFBG series).

6. Study and communicate product highlights, features, key technologies, applications, and specifications.
7. Develop product launch strategies and oversee end-to-end launch activities.
8. Create, design, and continuously update product catalogues, brochures, and related marketing collateral.
9. Produce product-related video content, including drafting script, filming, editing.

10. Website maintenance

11. Develop and implement the website maintenance plan to ensure content accuracy and brand consistency.

12. Create and collect materials from sales and technical teams for regular website updates.
13. Optimise website performance and visibility by implementing SEO strategies, including keyword research, content optimisation, metadata updates, and monitoring search performance analytics

14. Corporate Branding & Award Applications

15. Design, refine, and update corporate presentation decks tailoring to different occasions

16. Prepare award application packages, including application document drafting, and preparing for supporting materials, including slides, videos and etc.
17. Outreach and engage with government bodies, media release and business partners.
18. Provide marketing support to business development initiatives.

19. Social Media Content Creation

20. Develop and execute social media content strategies for LinkedIn, YouTube, and WeChat.

21. Conduct photography, text copywriting, and video recording/editing for both technical and promotional content.
22. Optimise exposure through effective hashtag use, trending topics, and audience-specific messaging.

23. Event Marketing

24. Develop marketing plans for events, exhibitions, conferences, and product demonstrations, including, project timeline, team task allocation, Layout plan, logistics arrangement, packing list, transportation planning, etc.

25. Communicate effectively with event organisers to ensure smooth coordination and full preparedness
26. Design and prepare all event-related marketing materials, including pull-up banners, brochures, presentation slides, videos, and other promotional assets.
27. Engage with government stakeholders, media outlets, and external partners to maximise exposure and participation.
28. Conduct on-site demonstrations of products and technologies, ensuring professional and engaging interactions with attendees
29. Tracking the metrics of the event and conduct summary report

30. In-House Marketing Operations

31. Manage product samples and demonstration kits for marketing and customer engagement.

32. Assist with customer reception and support on-site visits.

Qualifications & Skills

* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Design, or a related field; a background in technology or engineering is a plus.
* 2-3 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in B2B, technology, engineering, advanced manufacturing, or related high-tech industries.
* Strong capability in strategic marketing planning, campaign execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
* Proven experience in product marketing, with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts clearly and accurately.
* Proficiency in content creation, including copywriting, photography, design video recording, and video editing.
* Competence in graphic design and marketing material production (e.g., brochures, banners, presentation slides); familiarity with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is preferred.
* Hands-on experience managing corporate websites, including content updates using WordPress.
* Solid understanding of social media strategy across LinkedIn, YouTube, and WeChat; ability to create bilingual (English & Mandarin) content is a plus.
* Strong organisational skills, with experience in event planning, logistics coordination, and onsite product demonstrations.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with government agencies, media partners, and business stakeholders.
* High attention to detail, proactive mindset, and strong sense of ownership in delivering polished, high-quality marketing outputs.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapt in fast-paced environments, and meet tight deadlines.
