Consultant Vascular Surgeon Opportunity in Northamptonshire
The Northamptonshire Vascular Service is seeking an exceptional Consultant Vascular Surgeon to join our team on a fixed-term basis. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to work collaboratively with our experienced vascular surgeons and contribute to the development of our service.
As a Consultant Vascular Surgeon, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, including elective and emergency procedures. You will also be expected to participate in the vascular multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong leadership and teamwork abilities. They will also have a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the improvement of surgical services.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a diverse caseload of patients with vascular conditions
* Participate in vascular multidisciplinary team meetings
* Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
Requirements:
* Full registration with the General Medical Council
* Completion of Specialty Training (CCT or equivalent) or within 6 months of achieving it in relevant specialty
* Experience of audit and quality improvement
* Effective team worker with demonstrable team leadership skills
