About the role
Working for a multi-billion dollar FMCG organisation, you will be responsible for leading commercial finance for ANZ to ensure commercial plans are in line with financial strategy and support marketing, sales and ops teams to maximize commercial returns.
The responsibilities
Reporting to Commercial Finance Director ANZ and working with APAC team, you will be heavily supporting the Head of Sales and Head of Marketing for a significant business unit.
You will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Support operations through the provision of effective management information and analysis
- Analysis of product line & category performance
- Execution of financial plans and initiatives
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to drive commercial decisions
- Lead the pricing/ discounts/ rebates decisions and processes
- Trade spend analysis
- Drive strategic initiatives to ensure revenue and profit growth
- Financial models to support business cases
- Monitoring of major projects
- Identify risk and opportunities
- Drive a key transformation project
- Development of customer pricing models and profitability analysis
- Spearhead process improvements across both operations and finance
The successful applicant will have
You will be a CA/ CPA qualified accounting professional with a proven track record in an analytical role, preferably FMCG, retail, manufacturing or similar.
You will have excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills, with the ability to think 'bigger picture'.
You will have proven business partnering skills and be an excellent communicator.
You will have led and/or mentored teams and be passionate about the development of people.
Experience in Catering or Foodservice would be highly desirable.
