Overview
A leading digital financial services business is continuing a major platform transformation and is looking for a Mid-Level Salesforce Engineer to join a high-impact engineering team.
Salesforce Financial Services Cloud sits at the core of this organisation's operational platform, supporting sales, service, and customer operations at scale. This role offers the chance to work on a purpose-built Salesforce implementation, integrated with a modern cloud and API-driven ecosystem.
You'll be hands-on building, configuring, and evolving a live Salesforce environment, while learning from experienced engineers in a fast-moving, product-led team.
What You'll Be Doing
* Configure and extend Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud
* Build declarative solutions using Flows, validation rules, and standard automation
* Develop custom functionality using Apex and Lightning Web Components where required
* Support integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST APIs and platform events
* Build and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards for operational teams
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving Salesforce engineering standards
* Work closely with Sales, Service, and Marketing stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solutions
* Contribute to sprint planning, delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience
* 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce experience in a production environment
* Practical experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (or strong exposure to complex Sales/Service Cloud implementations in financial services)
* Working knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce data models
* Strong experience building Salesforce Flows and declarative automation
* Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST APIs
* Familiarity with Salesforce deployment tools, version control, and CI/CD concepts
* Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams
* Salesforce certifications (Administrator and/or Platform Developer I preferred)
