Social Worker - Child Protection Counselling Service - Incentives Offered
Remuneration: $112,396 – $116,038 per annum + superannuation + salary packaging + rural incentives

Position Classification: Social Worker Level 3
This is a Social Work Level 3 position. However, if there are no appropriate Level 3 applicants, applications from Level 1 and 2 will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing
* Provide medium to long-term therapeutic interventions (3–18 months) for children and young people aged 0–18, and their families
* Deliver trauma-informed, culturally competent counselling and casework services
* Work collaboratively within a small, highly supportive team of four, backed by the broader Community Health and district-wide VAN network
* Support recovery from trauma, strengthen family functioning, and reduce future risk

Who You Are
We are looking for a motivated, resilient, and compassionate practitioner who understands the complex impacts of violence, abuse, and neglect on children, families, and communities.
You'll Bring
* A qualification in Social Work and eligibility or membership for general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Prior experience delivering culturally appropriate, trauma-informed services and programs
* Excellent communication, leadership, and time-management skills
* A collaborative, professional approach and strong work ethic

* * Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract.
* To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia.
