 
        
        Mount St Benedict College, is a girls high school established by the Sisters of Valuable Samaritan Education with a community of ten schools across Australia. The College offers holistic Catholic education based on Good Samaritan Benedictine tradition and values including Pax, Hospitality and Stewardship.
The College is looking for applicants to join our English Faculty as a permanent full time Head of Department, commencing Term The Head of Department is responsible for the development and implementation of the English curriculum and the promotion of excellence in innovative teaching and learning.
ESSENTIAL
- Relevant teaching qualifications in English.
- Accredited as a Proficient Teacher in NSW.
- NESA Registration.
- Current Working with Children Check.
DESIRABLE
- Experience and Qualifications in Leadership (or be working towards)
- An understanding of Good Samaritan Schools Teaching and Learning Framework.
- Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment as a member of a team.
- Previous experience in a middle leadership role.
