* Nationally recognised security industry brand with 1000's of frontline workers
* Drive a safety culture through engagement and influence

WorkTrybe are proud to partner with this long-standing, national client to find the latest addition to their Global award-winning team. Our client specialises in Security services and we are seeking a Health, Safety and Environment Lead to manage their HSE initiatives in Victoria and Tasmania.

As the HSE Lead you will visit 100's of client sites to ensure the safety of their frontline employees, and manage the internal safety of the Port Melbourne corporate office. Most of the client base is around Melbourne and some are in regional Victoria. There will be a requirement to travel to Tasmania approximately once per quarter to inspect sites there also.

About the role:

* Drive the creation and execution of a high-impact HSE framework
* Lead the injury management and RTW strategy day to day and long-term
* Partner with leaders to embed a safety-first culture using your influencing skills
* Visit multiple client sites across various industries
* Own compliance, reporting, and auditing to maintain ISO certifications
* Manage claims, collaborating with providers, and supporting employees through their RTW journey
* Lead risk assessments, incident investigations and action plans
* Use your tech-savviness across HRIS, ISO, incident systems and more
* Train and coach others on how to identify risks, log incidents and escalate WHS matters

About you:

* Ideally 3–5 years' experience in a Health, Safety and Environment role
* Solid RTW and Workers Compensation management skills
* Experience in diverse, multisite environment - there are over 100 client sites to visit and assess
* A confident communicator who builds trust with stakeholders at all levels
* Proven experience on bringing people on a safety journey - telling people what to do just won't work - you need their buy in
* Tech-strong and systems-savvy (HRIS, ISO platforms, incident reporting tools)
* Unflappable under pressure – cool head, organised, and excellent time management
* Minimum Cert IV in WHS and RTW Certification
* Full Australian working rights and current drivers licence
* Required to undergo a national police check

Why you'll love this role:

* Influence and autonomy - This is a pivotal role, not a box-ticking exercise
* Nationally respected brand in the security space - market leaders who are continuing to grow
* This company has a diverse client base of government and commercial organisations where their security guards are onsite - you'll be meeting with different people across multiple locations and industries so no two days will be the same
* Recognition and reward programs along with staff discounts
* Fantastic culture, tenured employees who care about the welfare of their team mates
* Opportunity to shape the future of safety culture across two states

If you are an experienced HSE Lead with multisite background and have the personality that influences people to come on a safety journey then please apply
