Care Aide - Cannington and Surrounds - WA
We're recruiting experienced Care Aides for a permanent part‐time role (39 hours per fortnight) requiring Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8AM-3PM.
Applicants must live in Cannington, East Cannington, Ferndale, Parkwood, Queens Park, Riverton, Rossmoyne, Shelley, Willetton, Wilson.
The role involves delivering high‐quality personal care and support, including showering, grooming, toileting, medication assistance, meal preparation, domestic tasks and community‐based social support. Care Aides work independently, travelling between clients' homes, so a reliable vehicle and confidence using a mobile app to follow schedules and care plans are essential.

Qualifications and experience
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC, Disability is highly desirable, although not essential.
* Those with a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 3 months relevant care worker experience. Those without a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 6+ months relevant care worker experience (FTE).
* Experience working in a home care/community setting is highly desirable.
* A valid Drivers' License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential.
* Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app, will be essential.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.
The role responsibilities
* Deliver high‐quality care and support that promotes client independence.
* Provide personal care, including showering, grooming and toileting.
* Assist with medication as required.
* Prepare meals and support clients with nutrition needs.
* Provide domestic assistance and general housekeeping.
* Offer social support and community engagement.
* Follow a predetermined schedule while travelling between clients' homes.
* Use a mobile app to access and follow digital schedules and care plans independently.
* Maintain unrestricted access to a reliable vehicle for travel between visits.
