**Location**

Set in beautifully landscaped acreage alongside the Currumbin Creek, Bolton Clarke's Galleon Gardens provides high-quality aged and dementia care in a friendly, secure and comfortable residential environment.

**About the role**

We are looking for a full-time Activities Officer's to empower and engage with our Residents to maximise their participation in Leisure and Lifestyle programs based in our Darlington home in Banora Point.

Our focus for residents is what best suits their individual needs and wants, our Activities officers facilitate this through:

- Participation in the development, implementation and assessment of therapeutic plans
- Supporting residents to engage in their leisure and lifestyle choices and activities
- Supporting staff and volunteers in provision of leisure and lifestyle programs

**To be successful, you'll need**
- Cert IV in Leisure and Health (essential)
- Previous experience in Aged Care
- Experience working with memory support (dementia) highly desirable
- Availability and reliability to commit to the required shifts
- Complete a Police Check
- NDIS Worker Check (valid within the last 5 years)
- Working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc.)
- Energetic and effective communicator
- Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination
- Flu Vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
