Working Monday to Friday either 7am - 3pm or 8am - 4pm, this role reports directly to the Community Manager and will see you support and mentor a small team of direct care staff to provide quality care to our Package and CHSP clients across Avon coastal area. Travel will be required a couple of times per week across said client base. This role is Northam based, but we are open to discussing other base locations.We require you to have good knowledge of our funding streams across Packages and CHSP.This role requires travel within the community and will either avail of our salary packaged vehicle option OR be reimbursed for KM's on your own reliable vehicle, to be determined based on the location of the role.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage employees to ensure best practice is followed and compliant with required policies and procedures.Manage and document employee performance issues.Lead and promote safe work culture to reduce safety incidents and loss time injury.Maintain inclusive and effective communication with the team to ensure employees are aware of pertinent informationEnsure new employees have been provided with adequate knowledge of their role and responsibilitiesManage and authorise weekly/fortnightly timesheetsRespond to employee and client queries to ensure consistent and effective outcomes for the service deliveryAllocate suitable resources and implement support plans to ensure quality care is deliveredDocument, report and action hazards and incidents to ensure safe work procedures are followedEnsure the integrity of client documents and reports are correct, maintained and deliveredAbout youThe ideal candidate will have a strong background within the Aged Care Industry.
