About the Role:
At Supreme Incursions, we offer flexible hours —ideal for teachers looking to step away from the traditional classroom routine, and university students who want practical teaching experience without the burden of admin and after-hours work.
As a teacher, you'll have the freedom to adapt our pre-prepared lessons to suit the needs of the students and the school’s curriculum links. You won’t have to worry about overtime, weekend marking, or yard duty. Enjoy your evenings and weekends free —perfect for maintaining a healthy work-life balance!
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver hands on, curriculum-aligned incursions in schools during term time.
- Build connections with schools, students, and fellow educators.
Now Hiring For:
1. 1. Generalist Teachers – Multiple Roles
We’re looking for enthusiastic teachers to deliver a range of incursions that focus on science, health and wellbeing, history, cultures, and more. You’ll bring energy, initiative, and strong classroom management skills to every session—engaging students through curiosity, creativity, and meaningful connection. Adaptability, confidence, and a genuine passion for learning by doing are key to success in this role.
2. 2. Dance & Generalist Teacher
We are also seeking a dance teacher to lead movement-based programs that promote creativity, energy, and confidence in students. This role is about participation and fun—No choreography perfection required! We’re looking for someone who can get a room of students moving and smiling, in an inclusive and engaging way. We are looking for a person is also open to teaching programs outside of dance too.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us:
- Flexible hours: full days or shorter shifts, with the option to extend at the office
- No extra workload: All lessons are pre-prepared, so you can focus on teaching
- Work-life balance: Enjoy evenings, weekends, and time off when you want it (not locked into school holidays)
- Work vehicle for incursions: We provide a vehicle for transporting equipment to and from schools, covering your fuel and tolls expenses
- Join a supportive, fun team of educators passionate about hands-on learning
What a Typical Day Looks Like:
- All your bookings and locations are confirmed one week in advance, so you always know what to expect
- A standard day includes 1–3 sessions, depending on student numbers
- Most days start with an 8:00 AM arrival to allow time for setup before students arrive at 9:00 AM
- The latest finish time —based on a full 3 session day with pack-down—is approximately 4:15 PM
- Programs are equipment-based and hands on, so you’ll be using a work vehicle (provided) to bring everything to and from schools
- Schools are located across Melbourne, so flexibility with travel is significant.
If your day finishes early (for example, after just 1 or 2 sessions), you can either:
Sign off for the day and enjoy the afternoon off, or head back to our office in Sunshine West for additional paid work that aligns with your skills—such as resource development, creative projects, or team support.
