This regulatory statutory agency delivers high-quality regulatory administration and practice by administering bankruptcies and other personal insolvency arrangements, managing and disposing of criminal assets on behalf of the Commonwealth.
They are responsible for the implementation, regulation and enforcement of bankruptcy and personal property securities legislation and play a special role in the effective and efficient management of criminal assets and proceeds of crime.
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to support a recently appointed but highly experienced senior executive with over 25 years' experience in the Australian Public Service.
Supporting the Band 2, you'll work alongside a Chief of Staff and Executive Officer so will be incredibly well supported.
You will provide executive support to an area that adopts a whole-of-system approach to regulation, using data and intelligence to prioritise resources, and ensure effective regulation and surveillance.

The Role
The office is a central coordination point responsible for providing high-level executive, leadership and support services to the Band 2. Your key duties will be:
* Manage, facilitate and monitor administrative activities including email and diary management, coordination of travel arrangements, incoming correspondence and phone enquiries
* Act as the Executive point of contact in liaising with internal and external stakeholders to action requests, coordinate activities and support divisional projects
* Prepare and co‐ordinate the provision of effective communications and correspondence including briefings, reports, submissions etc.
* Identify, drive and support improvement in administrative practices, systems and procedures
* Maintain records in accordance with agency policies and procedures
* Financial management including reconciliation and maintenance of travel and credit card accounts and related cost centres
* Identify, monitor and report on emerging issues to the Executive to ensure effective resolution /escalation
The Ideal Person
You will be friendly and influential with the ability to confidently liaise across senior staff and external bodies. Providing support to your team and building effective working relationships comes naturally.
You will need to be up for a challenge, with the ability to work across competing deadlines and provide support to multiple areas at once. Your time management and organisation skills will be paramount in this role. In addition, you will be able to work in a fast‐paced and fluid environment and be adaptive to change.
You must have a current minimum Baseline Security Clearance and have previous experience in executive support within the APS to be considered.

* $100 - $113k + 15.4% Super
