What's the role?
We are looking for an experiencedHeavy-Duty Diesel Mechanicto join the well-established Qube team at Thunderbox Northern Goldfields. The primary role of the Diesel Mechanic is to undertake fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of company vehicles and machinery safely and efficiently.A suitable candidate will have excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work under pressure and independently.

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:
* Suitable Trade Qualification or Certification
* Must have minimum 1 years' qualified industry experience
* Demonstrated working experience with heavy vehicles & heavy machinery (Kenworth, Volvo & Mack Prime Movers, side-tippers, bowl tippers, belly dumpers, Cats, Cummins etc.)
* National Police Clearance (within 6 months validity) – or ability to obtain one
* Good mechanical aptitude
* Must have prior experience in ports, heavy transport or mining environments
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a variety of people
* Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment, with a proactive approach to task resolution to maintain a high quality of work
* Strong analytical thinker with an ability to make concise and compelling decisions
* Ability to maintain accurate records of work completed
* Have a positive attitude
