About the role
As a senior civil engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions for a wide range of projects across various locations. You'll lead multidisciplinary teams, manage resources effectively, and ensure timely project delivery while maintaining quality standards.
Working collaboratively with colleagues and specialist engineers, you will ensure that all projects meet relevant specifications, standards, and drawing requirements. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and delivering civil engineering projects to a high technical standard.
* Supervising and supporting drafters and designers to maintain quality and efficiency in design outputs.
* Leading the design team in producing accurate, timely, and compliant documentation using appropriate engineering software.
* Maintaining strong client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
* Ensuring compliance with statutory standards and internal quality systems.
To be successful for this role, you'll need:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years working experience in civil engineering, and/or site supervision of land development and civil infrastructure projects.
* Professional Engineering registration.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the interpretation and application of relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines.
* Strong technical expertise and ability to produce accurate design documentation.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven experience in time management and organisational skills including the ability to manage resources and delegate tasks effectively.
