The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Manager to join the broader product function, supporting product innovation, enhancement, and continuous improvement initiatives across the lending portfolio.
This role will work closely with stakeholders across pricing, credit, risk, and distribution to drive product outcomes, support strategic initiatives, and contribute to the ongoing growth of the business.
The environment is highly hands-on and suited to someone who enjoys working at pace, taking ownership, and contributing across both strategic and operational initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
1. Support the ongoing management and enhancement of lending products across the residential mortgage portfolio
2. Contribute to product innovation initiatives, including new product development and continuous improvement projects
3. Work collaboratively with pricing, credit, risk, and operational teams to optimise product performance and customer outcomes
4. Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and growth
5. Assist in the review and refinement of existing products, policies, and processes
6. Support transformation and change initiatives across the broader product function
7. Provide recommendations balancing commercial outcomes, growth opportunities, and risk considerations
8. Partner closely with broker and distribution channels to improve product competitiveness and customer experience
Ideal Experience
9. 3-5 years experience in Product Management within financial services
10. Exposure to residential mortgages, lending, banking, or adjacent financial services products
11. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of balancing growth, profitability, and risk
12. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
13. Comfortable operating within fast-paced and evolving environments
14. Curious, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset
15. Ability to challenge ideas constructively and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
16. Exposure to home lending products and the mortgage process will be highly regarded
