Field Officer Job Description

This is an opportunity to work with school students, employers, and families to promote traineeships and provide mentorship and support.


About the Role:

* Mentor and manage a case load of predominantly Aboriginal School-Based Trainees
* Promote school-based traineeships to schools, employers, families and students
* Finding suitable host employers
* Maintain detailed case notes and admin skills


Key Responsibilities:

The Field Officer will be responsible for mentoring and managing a case load of predominantly Aboriginal School-Based Trainees. This includes promoting traineeships to schools, employers, families and students, finding suitable host employers, and maintaining detailed case notes and admin skills.

The role would suit applicants who like being on the road as travel throughout the workday is a large part of the job. Successful applicants should have a keen desire to support young people, be confident, organised, and able to work well both independently and in a team.
