Therapeutic Clinician - Child Safety Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Children's Therapeutic Clinician to deliver trauma-informed interventions and work collaboratively with care teams to ensure integrated service delivery.
About the Role
This full-time position involves working in a dynamic environment, assessing needs, developing treatment plans, and facilitating individual and group interventions. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, providing therapy sessions, and contributing to program development and evaluation.
* Develop and implement tailored therapeutic treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals.
* Provide training and education to colleagues and community members on trauma-informed practices and child safety principles.
* Contribute to the development of new programs and services to enhance the quality of life for vulnerable children and families.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or a related field.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in therapeutic work with children, young people, and families.
* A strong understanding of feminist principles and the gendered nature of family violence.
* Commitment to cultural safety and inclusion, especially for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and diverse communities.
