We're looking for a friendly and reliable team member to join our busy local fish market. This casual role is rostered Tuesday–Saturday between 9am–6pm. Permanent roles available for the right candidate.
Duties include:
* Serving customers & providing great service
* Cash handling / EFTPOS
* Maintaining clean, well-presented displays
* Restocking and rotating fresh product
* General cleaning of the retail area and workspaces
* Learning about seafood and assisting customers with product choices
About you:
* Has excellent customer service and communication skills
* Is reliable, punctual and a team player
* Is comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
* Can follow hygiene & food safety practices
* Must be 16+ years of age
* Has cash handling/EFTPOS experience (preferred but not essential)
* Is willing to learn about seafood (we'll train you)
* Must hold a valid work visa or legal work rights in Australia
