This newly created position is focused on equipping Barwon Water's people to confidently adopt new digital systems and tools, as well as the rollout of the new asset management system Sitting within the Digital Infrastructure and Operations team, you'll create practical learning resources—guides, videos, and online modules—tailored to a variety of roles and work environments.
A major focus will be the Works and Asset Management (WAM) project, with scope to also support Microsoft 365 adoption and wider digital capability programs. Partnering with subject matter experts, you'll turn complex technical detail into clear, user-friendly training, while exploring opportunities to apply new technologies, including AI, to strengthen learning delivery and outcomes.
Some travel to operational sites may be required so a current drivers license is required.

About you
A developing technical professional, you're an effective communicator with a passion for helping others build confidence in a digital environment. An openness to emerging technologies, including AI, and a commitment to continuous learning will support your success in this role.
Skilled in creating engaging materials across written, visual, and interactive formats, you apply a structured approach while working both independently and collaboratively with teams. You'll comfortable using Microsoft 365 and digital literacy programs, and experience supporting operational teams, particularly with asset management systems.
Your experience in training programs and creating digital content may be underpinned with certificates in Technology, Business or similar, as you test your skills in a rewarding environment. You will be empowered to grow by a supportive team who will value your skills and knowledge.
