 
        
        Ulladulla Residential Services is a small community-run organisation who focus on the real needs of the people we support.
We are currently looking for a passionate, well-organised, committed, and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to help support our housemates and support staff.
Our service supports just five people. They share a house together, and all housemates are supported in meaningful daily activities at home and in the local community.
Our aim is to support people to have valued social roles, that enable them access to the good things of life, just like everybody else.
Because of our philosophy and our size, we are able to focus on the real needs of the people we support and provide supports based on individuality and to support people to live the best lives possible.
As the Assistant Manager your key responsibilities are:
- In partnership with staff develop Person-Centred Plans and key documentation for service delivery and organisation compliance. 
- Ensure the service is adequately resourced within budgetary requirements and the housemates have adequate support and supervision. 
- Ensure support staff are providing support in-line with housemate plans and are working within Ulladulla Residential Services Policy and Procedures, NDIS Practice Standards and other relevant legislation. 
- Offer support, advice, and feedback to the service in relation to person centred planning and programming. 
- Ensure housemates are supported to maintain their living environment with the standards of local community and social role valorisation. 
- Assist with planning, staff rostering and provide support and resources to support staff. 
- Provide general day-to-day operational supervision and coaching to staff to ensure effective and quality supports are provided to the housemates.
Essential Selection Criteria:
- Minimum Certification IV Disability Services or experience attained through equivalent level of experience and expertise to undertake the range of activities required. 
- Demonstrated experience in programming and activity development for people with disability. 
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislative requirements to meet service obligations. 
- Significant experience and/or knowledge of person-centred planning and person-centred active support and social role valorisation. 
- Senior First Aid Certificate 
- Current 'C' class drivers' licence 
- Compliance with the relevant Criminal History Screening as required, and maintenance of any legislative requirements of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding - worker screening systems requirements as adapted. 
- Completion of NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Orientation Module.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
