We are representing a global leader in Hyperscale Data Centres as they accelerate their multi-billion dollar Sydney campus footprint. While many developers focus on generic industrial assets, our client is building the AI-ready, high-density infrastructure of the future.
Following the success of their Melbourne team, built on a foundation of boots on the ground delivery experts, they are looking for a Project Manager (or a high-performing Senior Project Engineer ready for the step-up) to lead a significant Sydney workstream.
You will move beyond subcontract management and take the lead on:
* End-to-End Delivery: Overseeing the construction of $500m+ hyperscale assets from shell/core to complex MEP fit-out.
* Technical Innovation: Implementing next-gen infrastructure, including liquid cooling and high-density power deployments.
* Commercial Leadership: Managing Tier 1 builder contracts, risk mitigation, and project milestones from the owner's perspective.
* Stakeholder Management: Acting as the primary point of contact for world-leading cloud providers (Hyperscalers).
This company values the "builder pedigree." They are looking for someone who has cut their teeth at a Tier 1 or Tier 2 GC and understands the pressure of a live site delivery.
Qualifications
Requirements
* Proven experience at a major builder (e.g., Built., FDC, Multiplex, or similar).
* Exposure to complex, MEP-heavy projects (Data Centres, Hospitals, or Lab facilities).
* Strong contract management skills; a Masters in Construction Law or a Commerce background is highly regarded.
* You are likely a Senior PE or PM who is hungry for autonomy and wants to define the Sydney digital infrastructure landscape.
