Hanlon Industries is seeking a capable, detail-driven Bookkeeper to support our finance team through a busy growth period. This 6-month contract offers flexibility (part-time or full-time) and the potential to transition into a longer-term role for the right person.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Administration & Reporting
* Support month-end journals, accruals, and reconciliations
* Maintain accurate, compliant, and well-organised financial records
* Ensure correct coding, GST treatment, and documentation in Xero and Workbench
* Keep ledgers clean and current to support IAS, BAS, and tax obligations
Accounts Receivable
* Prepare and process customer invoices and receipts
* Confidently follow up outstanding accounts
* Maintain accurate AR ledgers and supporting documentation
* Liaise with clients to resolve queries and payment issues professionally
Banking & Reconciliations
* Complete daily bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
* Reconcile credit cards and employee expenses
* Provide accurate, timely data to support cashflow forecasting
About You
* Proficient in Xero (essential)
* Strong understanding of GST, reconciliations, and core bookkeeping principles
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
* Confident communicator with a professional phone manner
* Highly organised and consistent, with the ability to work independently and in a team
* Comfortable using modern cloud-based finance systems
