Job Opportunity: Veteran Services Consultant
As a seasoned professional, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse clients, supporting them on their journey of recovery and return to wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities may include:
* Managing a caseload of veteran clients, providing in-person servicing and teleconference support
* Supporting veterans and their families to return to work following service-related injuries and illnesses
* Assisting veterans and their families to engage in community activities
* Working with stakeholders to ensure veteran clients are supported and connected
* Providing psychoeducation and training using award-winning health coaching tools
* Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to support mentoring, knowledge, and growth
Requirements:
We are seeking candidates with:
* Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Nursing (Mental Health Accredited), Social Work, Rehabilitation counselling, or Psychology
* Eligibility for registration with relevant professional associations
* Strong emotional intelligence and a genuine passion for working with veteran clients and their families
* Good time management and organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and complex problem-solving abilities
