Description:
We are seeking a qualified Instrument Technician to work in our Central Sterile Services Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning, assembling, and distributing surgical instruments and equipment, adhering to strict infection control protocols. Key responsibilities include maintaining cleaning tools and equipment, restocking supplies, undertaking regular testing and cleaning tasks, and documenting all activities accurately.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate III in Health – Sterilising Practice for Technicians (or equivalent) is mandatory, along with a minimum of 3 years' experience as an Instrument Technician.
* Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision are essential.
