Due to internal movement we're seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in the Singleton area. Within this role you will be responsible for the oversight of the Maintenance team to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the plant, equipment and facilities on-site, and to facilitate the implementation of the maintenance plan and preventative maintenance activities.
About the role
* Planning of maintenance tasks to ensure breakdowns are minimal
* Conducting maintenance inspections
* Ensuring timely response to breakdowns
* Continuous improvement
* Ensure maintenance activities are being conducted in accordance with WHS requirements
* Monitor and protect the safety of maintenance staff and others directly affected by maintenance activities
* Report all safety hazards and risks
* Training and development of staff
* Assist in the recruitment process of new maintenance personnel
* Undertake or assist with maintenance rostering
* Ensure timesheets are completed and accurate

* Previous supervisory experience
* Fitting or Electrical trade qualification
* Forklift licence
* Drivers licence
* EWP ticket
* Experience rostering staff
* Conflict resolution skills
* Strong planning and business organisation ability
* Analytical and problem-solving ability
