This is your opportunity to shape the vision, strategy and sector-wide impact of a national organisation dedicated to strengthening general practice training in Australia. Grounded in GPSA's enduring mission - to support, advocate for and empower GP supervisors - you will guide the organisation's contribution to high‑quality medical education, supervisor development and the future of the GP workforce.
As Chief Executive Officer of GPSA, you will lead a period of renewal and transformation, elevating the organisation's profile, deepening engagement across the training ecosystem, and enhancing the support provided to the supervisors who are central to Australia's primary care system.

* Be the national voice for GP supervisors: Represent GPSA across education, workforce reform, and health policy. Build strong alliances with government, GP colleges, medical schools, training organisations, and communities to shape the future of general practice.
* Mobilise partnerships and investment at scale: Lead strategic collaborations, sector partnerships, and funding initiatives that strengthen supervisor support, enhance training innovation, and secure GPSA's long‑term sustainability and influence.
The Opportunity
As CEO, you will:
* Lead the execution and delivery of GPSA's refreshed organisational strategy: Work in close partnership with the Board to drive a clear, future‑focused direction that strengthens supervisor support, advocacy, and the overall sustainability of general practice training.

* Serve as GPSA's national voice and public champion: Represent and elevate the role of GP supervisors across key policy, workforce, education and stakeholder forums. Strengthen partnerships with government, GP colleges, medical schools, training organisations, and sector leaders.
* Drive partnerships, funding strategy and long‑term sustainability: Lead strategic investment initiatives, partnership development and revenue diversification to ensure GPSA's ongoing impact, operational strength and independence.
* Build and empower a high-performing, values-driven team: Cultivate an empowered executive coalition and ensure operational excellence across supervisor education, sector engagement, advocacy, research insights, member services and digital resources.
