We're looking for an experienced Cancer Nurse Consultant to join our friendly, patient-focused team in the Peninsula region.
In this pivotal role, you'll provide expert clinical care, education and leadership to ensure every patient receives personalised, coordinated cancer treatment.
You'll collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team and play a key part in improving the cancer care journey for our patients and their families.
More specifically, you will: Coordinate and deliver evidence-based care for oncology patients.
Act as the key contact for patients, carers and healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions of care.
Provide clinical expertise, advice and education to patients and staff.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to service planning, quality improvement and research.
Build strong relationships with referrers, hospital teams and external stakeholders.
We're interested in hearing from people who have: Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia .
Minimum 5 years' oncology nursing experience .
Postgraduate qualification (or working towards) in Oncology Nursing, Advanced Nursing or a related field.
Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
Passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
