About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our stores have a clean and safe environment for customers and employees. This involves collecting trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs, pushing them onto a collection vehicle, and returning them to their designated bays. You will also be required to perform pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle, follow all safety and operational procedures, and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs
* PUSH Trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle
* Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays
* Carry out all pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle
* Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection
* Follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys
* You may also be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks
What We Offer
* A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift
* Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm
* A full (unrestricted) Australian drivers licence, Provisional P2 drivers licence (Green P Plates) or full International drivers Licence
