Digital Medical Systems is an established and growing IT support company. We specialise in providing managed services and IT support to the primary healthcare industry, as well as to small and medium-sized businesses across a range of sectors. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality technical support to our clients. We are seeking a highly motivated individual looking for a long-term commitment to join our team of Level 2/3 engineers. Our clients are heavily reliant on their IT systems, which places a strong emphasis on high availability, robust cybersecurity, and best-practice disaster recovery procedures. We offer a full suite of services, including help desk and onsite support, managed services, managed security, cloud hosting solutions, and VoIP systems. Our head office is located in Rowville, Melbourne. This role is primarily work-from-home based in the Perth area, with onsite support provided to Perth-based clients as required from time to time.
Responsibilities
* Provide remote and onsite technical support to clients
* Deliver hardware and software projects and installations
* Monitor and respond to alerts from managed services platforms and dashboards
* Support and maintain our cloud hosting environments
* Document technical knowledge, processes, and workflows
* Advise clients on IT best practices
* Participate in an after-hours on-call roster
* Travel interstate as required to support our Australia-wide client base
Qualifications
* Relevant formal and industry-recognised qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years' industry experience
* Exceptional customer service skills. This is a customer facing role, a high level of communications skills, both verbal and written are required. Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
* Experience supporting Windows-based (WinTel) environments
* Experience with virtualisation technologies
* Experience with hosted environments
* Experience with Microsoft 365
* Solid understanding of networking concepts including routers, DHCP, and DNS
* Current driver's licence and reliable transport

* Cybersecurity qualifications
* VoIP systems
* Backup and disaster recovery solutions
* Scripting and programming (SQL, PowerShell, batch)
* Leading Australian medical software applications
* Experience with ConnectWise, Kaseya, or other RMM platforms
