The Role: Restaurant Manager (Full-Time)

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum (Negotiable based on experience)

Start Date: Urgent

As the Restaurant Manager, you will be the heart of our operations, overseeing all facets of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

Operational & Financial Oversight:

* Financial Reporting: Prepare and present detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, revenue, expenses, and staff performance.
* Cash Management: Oversee daily financial reconciliation, POS operations, and manage payroll/tip reconciliation.
* Operational Optimization: Identify measures to control costs, reduce waste (food and supplies), and improve efficiency.
* Vendor and Supplier Relations: Negotiate prices, manage accounts, track delivery timelines, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
* Licensing & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all local laws, licensing requirements, and food safety standards.

Team Leadership & Customer Experience:

* Staff Scheduling/Rostering: Create fair, efficient, and flexible weekly work schedules and manage shift swaps.
* Conflict Resolution: Professionally handle and mediate internal staff issues and resolve customer complaints promptly.
* Quality Control (Food and Service): Conduct spot checks on food quality, plating, and temperature, ensuring consistent service standards across all shifts.

Business Development:

* Marketing and Promotions: Develop and implement local strategies (e.g., events, social media) to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following:

* Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a senior hospitality leadership role (QSR experience is highly regarded but not essential).
* Leadership Skills: Confident team management and proven leadership abilities.
* Business Acumen: Strong operational and business sense.
* Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for dealing with staff, vendors, and customers.
* Flexibility: Availability to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, as required by the business.
