Think less clipboard, more cruise director. Think less routine, more remarkable.

Lead the Fun. Set the Vibe. Create the Moments.

Are you a master of planning unforgettable experiences? Do you know how to turn an ordinary day into something extraordinary?

We’re looking for a Lifestyle Manager who can lead a team, spark joy, and craft meaningful engagement every single day. If you’ve ever coordinated a festival, managed an event schedule, led community programs—or even hosted karaoke night on a cruise ship—this might be your next big move.

This isn’t about aged care. It’s about people. About creating spaces where laughter, creativity, movement, music, culture, and connection come together.

About Us

Join our dynamic team at Central Gippsland Health, where we are committed to providing comprehensive health and aged care services across the region. Our integrated approach ensures that we cater to all aspects of care, making a significant impact on the lives of our community members.

About the Role

As our Lifestyle Manager, you’ll be the creative engine behind a vibrant engagement program for older adults. You’ll lead a passionate team, partner with hospitality and clinical leads, and bring energy and innovation to a lifestyle experience that’s anything but ordinary.

What You’ll Be Doing

Designing and delivering a jam-packed calendar of activities and events

Leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team of lifestyle staff and volunteers

Developing programs that reflect creativity, individuality, and culture

Collaborating with chefs, clinicians, families and the community to keep the experience fresh

Supporting engagement for people living with dementia or cognitive changes

Tracking outcomes, gathering feedback, and driving continuous improvement

What You Bring

A qualification in Leisure and Health, Community Services, Events, or similar

Experience running programs that bring people together and leave them smiling

A bold, creative spirit with leadership experience

The ability to work autonomously and bring fresh ideas to the table

A genuine passion for people, inclusion, and memorable experiences

Why Work With Us?

At CGH, we don’t do boring. We do resident-led, vibrant, and fun. We back you to be bold and give you the freedom to shape the role.

You’ll be joining a workplace that values innovation, encourages autonomy, and sees lifestyle as essential—not optional.

Central Gippsland Health Service is the major provider of health and aged care services in the Wellington Shire. We serve an immediate population of approximately 42,000 in Central Gippsland, and reach a wider community in East Gippsland in terms of more specialised services such as perinatal services, critical care and surgery.

We are unusual in being both a sub-regional and an integrated health service, providing a broad range of primary, secondary and tertiary services, including a near comprehensive range of HACC services, through to adult intensive, coronary care and level 2 neonatal care.

The current focus of the health service is to use our integration and break down the traditional program barriers and service delivery silos that have flourished, in order to develop a highly efficient system that responds to people’s needs by placing them at the centre of a service delivery system focused on supporting them to achieve their goals and aspirations, consistent with the principles embedded in the “active service model’.
