About The Role
Join Cater Care as one of 2 Casual Cleaners at our education site in Alice Springs. Your work will help keep the campus clean, safe, and inviting for everyone on-site.
You'll handle general cleaning across offices and communal areas, with no bed-making, plus optional laundry tasks. We offer flexible morning and afternoon shifts and a friendly, supportive team. Cleaning or laundry experience is great - but we're happy to train the right person.
Roster: Flexible morning and afternoon shifts available across cleaning and laundry duties.
What This Role Involves
* Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and waste removal
* Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery in a safe and effective manner
* Carry out laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens or uniforms as required
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all site areas, including classrooms, communal spaces, restrooms, and offices
* Adherence to health, safety, and hygiene procedures
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Previous cleaning and/or laundry experience (preferred but not essential)
* A friendly, professional approach to service
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* A valid driver's licence and own vehicle
* Willingness to learn - training provided for the right applicant
